Laura Arthurton


Laura joined Conversity as Finance Director in March 2011 and has responsibility for all matters connected with finance, admin, compliance and HR within the business.

During her career, Laura has focussed on working in SME businesses in the technology sector. She has held senior finance roles at companies including and where she gained significant experience in working with businesses going through change arising from fast growth and changes in ownership.

During her five years at (previously, Laura saw the number of employees rise from 20 to 100+ following the company’s acquisition by the Aviva group and was involved in the subsequent sale to News and the integration into the media group that followed. At consumer comparison website, Laura held the position of Finance Director and was part of the team that acted on the sale of the business to the Forward Internet Group at the end of 2009.

Laura began her finance career with KPMG in Birmingham, UK, having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1996.

Tony Manning

Business Development Director

Tony is responsible for all new business development and sales activities for Conversity’s RIPPL™ solutions. After providing initial consultancy to Conversity, Tony formally joined in April 2015. He has been in the software industry for the last 25 years working for large enterprise software companies through to start-up organisations.

Tony has extensive experience in business development and operational sales, working across a wide range of blue-chip multi-national companies. He has proven expertise in the development and execution of creative sales strategies that have generated significant revenues. He has worked, for example, at SSA Global (Infor), PeopleSoft, Oracle, Amdocs, Cramer and TOA Technologies, delivering net new business revenues for these organisations from Professional Services, through to Software Licenses and SaaS.

Before joining Conversity, Tony worked for the last 4 years as the regional Sales Director for a US SaaS start-up company where he significantly grew new business sales across the UK, Benelux and Scandinavia.

Chris Bowden

Customer Director

Chris is responsible for overseeing business development, account management and programme delivery related to Conversity’s Professional Services. He joined Conversity in June 2010, having been in the software and services industry for 22 years where he has worked for large, multinational companies and early-stage software start-ups.

He has worked at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), NCR, Teradata and SITA and also for IBM consulting, where he ran a major change programme for Telstra Australia.

Before joining Conversity, Chris worked for various software companies where he grew business across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. He has delivered solutions for Mobile Network Operators in all these regions and has been involved in programmes for software development, consulting, SaaS, managed services and outsourcing.

Chris holds a BSc Honours degree.
