ROLE & JOB DESCRIPTION

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Business Analyst to join our growing team to focus on external customer project delivery activities. You will be joining the small existing professional services team and will be specifically tasked in translating our existing customer’s high-level business requirements into a low level functional specification to allow the development team to implement a solution. It will require you to interact with business & technical stakeholders (external) through workshops/one-one discussion.

The right candidate will have strong technical and logical Business Analysis capabilities alongside an aptitude for interacting with stakeholders and problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Engaging with the client’s stakeholders to document the low-level details of change requests and producing mock-up of the solution arrived at in collaboration with the development team.
  • Mapping product features to client’s business issues thus offering and guiding clients to the best possible solution.
  • Understanding the business issues of a client’s organisation and having the ability to communicate difficult / sensitive information tactfully.
  • Finding innovative and pragmatic solutions while capturing and documenting product and project specific requirements.
  • Involvement in QA and Testing cycles to ensure features are delivered in line with requirements.

Skills and experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience of Business Analysis for software implementation and configuration, preferably within the Retail or Telecoms sector.
  • Able to understand and be conversant in the technologies used in web applications.
  • Experience of multi-channel covering in-store, online and call centre .
  • Experience of both Agile and Waterfall development processes as well as more traditional project management practices (PRINCE2®, PMP®).
  • Ability to create mock-ups/prototypes/wireframes to support requirements.
  • Ability to summarise complex information into clear concise concepts.
  • Ability to drive/guide customers. Can influence without being pushy.
  • Comfortable being onsite with customers.
  • Delivers results by prioritising assignments and maintaining a focus on goals, making commitments – and keeping them .
  • Having the ability to manage initiatives that are not well defined or structured.
  • Currently resident in the UK and authorised to work in the UK.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking to recruit a New Business Sales Executive to build our business in the UK Retail and Brands market.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, evangelical salesperson who can initiate, develop and build relationships with retail customers and brand companies with a creative, consultative, solution sales approach. The sales approach needs to be educational as we work in an emerging and expanding market so a history of selling concepts and ROI in an early stage environment could be valuable.

There is a clear expectation for the Sales Executive to demonstrate specific and current domain expertise, which can be leveraged from day one to quickly build a strong business pipeline and to meet sales targets. Experience in successfully managing and converting pilots will be an advantage.

With a can do attitude, the successful candidate will require a desire and passion to take a hands on approach with Conversity’s SaaS solutions in order to be successful in this role.

ROLE

Based in Central London, the New Business Sales Exec will have proven experience in landing and growing new account revenue with large deals, and has experience in selling SaaS solutions directly to the retail and brand sector.

Experience of the in-store, online sales channels and / or customer experience would be of particular interest.

Candidate should be someone who is a hard worker and continually strives to exceed.

RESPONSIBILTIES

  • With backing of the business lead generation for the role.
  • Developing a robust and well-qualified sales pipeline with Retail and brand clients.
  • Identify, reach and influence key decision makers and all influencers and stakeholders within targeted retail and brand prospects.
  • Our target buyers tend to be Director level sales and service business buyers so a track record of successfully dealing with such buyers would be an advantage.
  • Take a hands on approach with the product.
  • Work closely with Conversity’s Business Development Director to set strategies and execute on tactics for closing business with prospective retail and brand clients.
  • Serve as both “Hunter” and “Consultative Sales Professional” – often at the same time.
  • Accurate sales forecasting.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals to help Conversity reach its goals.

REQUIRED SKILLS OF THE CANDIDATE

  • Minimum 5 years Retail and brand New Business software solution sales experience.
  • Demonstrable record of achieving new business targets.
  • A self-starter is a must in order to be successful in this role.
  • Comfortable with working in a team environment.
  • Commercially aware.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Currently reside in the UK and authorized to work in the UK.
  • Thrives on working with clients, understanding their personalities and their business needs, and delivering solutions to meet these needs.
  • Thrives when given on the opportunity of new business and can set and execute on a multi-year deals.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and exceed expectations.
  • Traveling 60%+ of the time to meet with prospects instead of in the office.
  • Clear track record of carrying sales quotas and meeting/exceeding annual goals for innovative product offerings that are still new to the market

JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE

We are specifically looking to recruit a Pre-Sales Executive to build our business in the European Telecoms and UK Retail and Brands markets, providing educational, consultative pre-sales support as appropriate for new SaaS opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and will contribute to the success of Conversity by taking responsibility to educate and consult on the fit of the solution to meet identified prospects needs and address identified pains; ensuring the right RIPPL™ solution for the prospect, whilst maximising the SaaS revenues.

PRODUCT AND INDUSTRY EXPERTISE

  • To educate prospects on omni-channel consumer journeys and maintain a thorough and detailed knowledge of the RIPPL™ product portfolio and its positioning
  • To maintain a detailed knowledge of the demonstration capabilities and roadmap
  • To maintain a detailed understanding of the consumer journey multi-channel industry trends & needs and how the RIPPL™ portfolio is addressing these needs.

RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Develop long-term relationships with key prospect personnel
  • Develop an understanding of the prospects’ strategic pains and issues which affect Conversity
  • Be the primary pre-sales solution contact aiming to achieve trusted partner / trusted adviser status
  • To prepare costed solution proposals and respond to RFx’s in support of the sales process
  • To present, demonstrate and configure the product and in doing so to articulate the functionality and benefits of the RIPPL™ solution to the prospective client’s decision-making unit
  • To be able to attend prospect / client meetings at any level and present appropriately in a professional & empathetic manner.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven track record in growing new account revenues with large value deals in a complex consultative SaaS environment, provided to either the telecoms or retail and brand sectors
  • Strong educational and consultancy approach with new market technologies and/or start-up experience, with commercial awareness; preferably with a minimum 5 years’ experience of working with sales teams in a pre-sales / technical environment
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and objection handling skills
  • Experience of multi-channel covering in-store, online and call center
  • Can demonstrate a clear understanding of ROI concepts and business cases, and can prove an ability to sell in a value and business oriented manner
  • Currently reside in the UK and authorized to work in the UK and across Northern Europe
  • Highly flexible: prepared to travel extensively – at short notice as necessary – and work where required, when required in order to get the job done
  • Delivers results by prioritising assignments and maintaining a focus on goals, making commitments – and keeping them
  • Demonstrates a passion and enthusiasm for what they sell
